Gift of God
For by grace we have been saved it is a gift of God. Ephesians 2:8
What do we do with a gift ? We First must receive it, then take Claim to it and unwrap it. We share it and tell others about the gift with great joy.
What about Jesus, the greatest gift of all time?

God's Not Dead 2
I watched this movie yesterday and was moved with the conviction of the each individual as they received Jesus into their own life. I was just as much annoyed with the attorney that wanted to prove God was dead. I kept thinking, you almost do believe, but too prideful to do so.
God is very much alive. Depends on us as individuals whether we live like it.
Would I be convicted of having a personal relationship with God. Do I talk to Him? Does He talk to me? How often?
I felt I was closer to Him than I am now. Shouldn't be that way. Got to get back to where I was.
God let's talk!

Our Hope
Ephesians 1:15 -2:10
We have a hope in God's calling which is to know God, have an inheritance and to work and love through His power. Not power of what we are able to do, but the awesome power that is far above ours, in which we are made alive. Life is so precious and it is a gift. How will I use it?

God's Will
Listening to a preacher my heart was pricked and the words he spoke moved me. I've been thinking about these words. If you want to know God's will then get to know Him. It isn't knowing what His will is, what he wants me to do...it is He wants a relationship with me and in my walking with Him daily He will guide me daily to know what it is He wants me to do. I started reading in Ephesians today and listening to what is said in Scripture. This is spending time with God. Today His word says I must be holy, without blame, to love. I already knew this, but doing it is what is required to be spiritually blessed and to be accepted in the Beloved. Verses 1:1-3

Heart Matters
We can depend upon the Lord to care for and direct the hearts of His children. He is faithful and He cares for us. He has a plan for each life He created. We need to wait for His guidance and let Him direct our hearts.
He will establish our ways and hearts and put them in perfect order, only if we permit Him to do so. He is our Heavenly Father and wants the very best for His children. Just as we as parents want to do for our children. However, there are times that we just aren't ready for what we want or think we need, thus our parents direct us in other directions. We do not wait so patiently, do we? It may be years before we are ready, but in the meantime, God shares His love and blessings with us continually. God's love is much greater than human love. He is faithful and loving, caring about the condition of our hearts and desires to direct us properly. He'll continue to always have our best interest of our hearts in His thoughts.
Have you ever thought of God as being the Director of your heart. Sounds like a great idea. I certainly do have trouble with it myself. There are times that I really like to do things my own way, and it gets me in so much trouble and leaves me very much unhappy. Lord, there are times and you know them too, that I want to do things myself, and make things happen because I want something so bad. Please help me to wait for your direction, because you know the masterpiece that you desire to make of my heart. I suppose it's a lot like being in the choir and watching the director, or listening to the music, and then we don't quite understand why we are singing off key, or just not in sink with the music. So, God teach me to watch You, my Director of my heart.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 & 5 "...the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ."
